2. Refund Conditions for Energy Points

A refund for energy points purchases may be considered only in the following cases:

  • Persistent technical issues preventing story generation after consultation with our support team.
  • Unauthorized transactions or duplicate charges.

Refunds are not available in the following cases:

  • If any portion of the purchased energy has been used for story generation.
  • If you're not satisfied with the generated stories while the service is functioning properly.
  • If the refund request is made later than 48 hours from the purchase time.
  • If you haven't contacted our support team first to resolve technical issues.

3. Refund Conditions for Prime Status Subscription

A refund for Prime Status Subscription may be considered only in the following limited circumstances:

  • The Service was unavailable or non-functional for more than 50% of the subscription period.
  • Unauthorized transactions or documented duplicate charges for the same subscription period.

Refunds are not available for Prime Status Subscription in the following cases:

  • If the subscription has been active for more than 14 days.
  • If you're not satisfied with the generated stories while the service is functioning properly.
  • If you already received any energy restoration benefits from the subscription.
  • If you haven't contacted our support team first to document and resolve technical issues.

4. Before Requesting a Refund

If you experience any issues with our service:

  • First, contact our support team at support@storiko.com
  • Allow our team up to 48 hours to help resolve your technical issues.
  • Try using the service with the free weekly energy balance.

5. Refund Process

To request a refund, you must:

  • Submit a formal written refund request in free form that includes your username, transaction ID, payment details, and detailed reason for the refund request.
  • Sign the written request and send a clear scan or photo of the signed document to support@storiko.com.
  • Include any relevant evidence supporting your refund claim, such as error logs or screenshots of service issues.
  • For energy points purchases, submit your request within 48 hours of purchase.
  • For Prime Status Subscription, submit documentation of service unavailability periods.

Refund requests are processed within 12 business days from receipt of a complete refund request with all required documentation. The Service Owner reserves the right to request additional information or clarification before processing any refund.

6. Final Provisions

We reserve the right to modify this policy at any time. Changes become effective immediately upon posting to our website. By continuing to use Storiko after changes are made, you accept the updated policy.

The Service Owner reserves the right to make the final decision on all refund requests at its sole discretion.

Terms of Service

1. Introduction

This Terms of Service agreement (hereinafter referred to as "Agreement") governs the relationship between individual entrepreneur Ivan Vaskov (hereinafter referred to as "Service Owner") and users (hereinafter referred to as "User") of the AI-generated bedtime stories service (hereinafter referred to as "Service").

2. Nature of the Service

2.1. The Service is an AI-powered story generation tool that creates original bedtime stories. All characters, plots, and illustrations are generated by artificial intelligence and are unique to this Service.

2.2. The User acknowledges that the Service uses artificial intelligence, and results may vary in quality and content.

3. Rights and Content Usage

3.1. Ownership and License Grant. All generated content is the intellectual property of the Service Owner. Subject to your compliance with these Terms, the Service Owner grants you a worldwide, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the generated content for any purpose, including commercial use.

3.2. User Responsibility and Release. You are solely responsible for your use of the generated content. You acknowledge that the Service does not guarantee the uniqueness or non-infringement of the content. You agree to conduct your own due diligence to ensure that the content, its use, and any elements within it (such as characters, styles, or concepts) do not infringe upon any third-party rights (including copyrights, trademarks, publicity rights, or patents) or violate any applicable laws. The Service Owner is not liable for any claims arising from your use of the generated content.

3.3. No Warranty on Rights. The license granted in clause 3.1 is provided "as is" without any warranty of non-infringement. The Service Owner expressly disclaims all liability regarding the legal status and originality of the generated content.

3.4. Prohibition on Infringing Content. You are strictly prohibited from knowingly generating content that incorporates copyrighted characters, brands, trademarks, or other intellectual property without proper authorization. Furthermore, you agree not to use the Service to generate content that is illegal, harmful, or infringing. Any such use is a material breach of these Terms.

3.5. Indemnification. To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Service Owner and its affiliates from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or in connection with your use of the generated content, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.

4. User Responsibilities

4.1. The User is solely responsible for all story parameters and themes they input into the Service.

4.2. The User must supervise children's interaction with the Service and assumes full responsibility for any consequences of such interaction.

4.3. The User is responsible for ensuring age-appropriate content consumption and explaining the AI nature of the Service to children.

4.4. The User agrees not to use the Service for creating content that promotes harmful behaviors, inappropriate values, or potentially dangerous ideas.

5. Limitation of Liability

5.1. The Service does not guarantee any specific educational, developmental, or entertainment outcomes.

5.2. The Service Owner is not liable for any psychological, emotional, or behavioral effects the stories may have on children or adults.

5.3. The User assumes all risks associated with using the Service, including but not limited to misunderstandings, misinterpretations, or unintended effects of the generated content.

5.4. The Service Owner is not responsible for any technical issues, service interruptions, or content availability.

6. Content Safety and Moderation

6.1. While the Service strives to generate appropriate content, the User is responsible for reviewing all generated content before sharing it with children.

6.2. The Service reserves the right to refuse generating certain types of content or restrict service access without explanation.

6.3. The User agrees to report any inappropriate or concerning content immediately to the Service support team.

7. Virtual Currency, Prime Status Subscription, and Payments

7.1. Energy points are a virtual currency with no monetary value. The Service Owner may modify, limit, or discontinue energy points at any time.

7.2. All purchases are final. No refunds will be provided for unused energy points or service features except as specifically outlined in the Refund Policy.

7.3. Weekly energy point restoration is provided at the Service's discretion and may be modified or discontinued.

7.4. Prime Status Subscription ("Prime") is a time-limited subscription service that provides energy restoration benefits to the User.

7.5. Prime Status restores energy points to a predetermined maximum level as specified in the subscription plan, not exceeding this level. If the User's current energy points exceed the level specified in their Prime plan, no additional energy points will be provided.

7.6. The Service Owner reserves the right to modify, limit, or discontinue any aspect of Prime Status Subscription, including energy restoration levels, at any time.

7.7. The User acknowledges that the Prime Status Subscription does not guarantee continuous service availability and is subject to the Limitation of Liability provisions in section 5.

8. Privacy and Data Protection

8.1. The Service collects and processes user inputs solely for story generation and service improvement.

8.2. The User agrees not to input any personal or identifying information about children into the Service.

8.3. The Service may use anonymized inputs for AI training and service enhancement.

9. Changes to the Agreement

9.1. The Service Owner may modify this Agreement at any time without prior notice.

9.2. Continued use of the Service implies acceptance of any changes.

10. Final Provisions

10.1. If any provision of this Agreement is found to be invalid, the remaining provisions remain in effect.

11. Dispute Resolution

11.2. The User explicitly waives any right to class action or individual legal claims against the Service Owner.
